ISL 2017: FC Goa coach Lobera says that scoring goals wins matches & they will be doing the same

FC GOA have been on a great run in this season and will face a struggling side in Delhi Dynamos tonight. Coach Sergio Lobera is happy with the team scoring goals despite the problem of conceding too many too.

"It’s true that we’ve conceded a few goals so far and sometimes we’ve not been as decisive in the games. But what’s important is we’ve scored most goals so far. For us, it’s important to take points from that. Scoring goals is what wins matches and that’s what we’re going to do," he said at the pre-match press conference.

He also said that his defence needs to be more strong,

"It’s true that we have to improve certain aspects of our game and defence is certainly one of those aspects. Obviously, defence is an area of concern and ultimately, it’s very important to tighten the defence."

Talking about his opponents, he said,

"I think Delhi play a good brand of football. They play from the back and keep possession of the ball. It’s a similar style to what we play. So, we’ll see two teams going at it and end to end stuff. In fact, it makes the fixture even more attractive."
