Two-time ISL runners-up Kerala Blasters will host NorthEast United FC in their fourth home game.
Kerala Blasters have struggled since the inception of the ongoing season and are yet to add a win to their tally. C.K. Vineeth is set to return from suspension and the in-form Mark Sifneos is likely to lead the side. Milan Singh is expected to partner Arata Izumi in central midfield.
Kerala will miss the services of Dimitar Berbatov, who was subbed early in the game against Goa. The ‘playmaker’ has been ruled out until at least December 31 after sustaining a calf injury. There is uncertainty over the availability of Ian Hume. He is most likely to be rested in this game. Wes Brown, who is known to have return to full training, could see some playing time.
NorthEast are going into this game after suffering a 5-2 defeat at the hands of FC Goa. They haven’t had the best of starts after managing just four points in as many games. Rowllin Borges has looked impressive in the two games for the outfit and is expected to deliver in this game. While Lalrindika Ralte could replace Doungel, TP Rehenesh, who is fully fit could return to role in the goal. The visitors will look for a bigger contribution in terms of goals from their talented Brazilian striker Danilo Lopes Cezario.
There are no reports of injuries.
