ISL 2017: ATK set to sign U-17 Indian World Cup squad star player Komal Thatal

AFTER HAVING signed a replacement for Carl Baker, defending ISL champions ATK are set to sign another player. This time it is the young lad Komal Thatal who impressed all with his performances with the U-17 Indian side in the World Cup and the Asian U-16 championships.

He also gave many Indian football fans a reason to rejoice when he scored against football heavyweights Brazil in the Asian U-16 championships, making him the first Indian to do so.

ATK have two promising young players in Bipin Singh and Hitesh Sharma who have been given game time and have proved their presence in the team with their performances.

The addition of Komal makes the squad more interesting and this may also be the end of their struggling period with the recent signings.

However, ATK will only be able to field Komal post the transfer window in January.
