Vasyl Lomachenko retains super-featherweight world title With a win over Guillermo Rigondeaux

VASYL LOMACHENKO RETAINED THE SUPER-FEATHERWEIGHT WORLD TITLE after securing a win over Guillermo Rigondeaux.

The fight had a controversial ending after Rigondeaux quit claiming that he had a broken wrist. Before the final call was made, Lomachenko and Rigondeaux went six rounds in which Lomachenko showed off his dominance. The champion was well in front of the challenger throughout the fight with his fast paced movements and slick punches.

This is Lomachenko’s seventh straight win victory by stoppage and after the fight, he had the following to share.

“I guess I should change my name now to ‘NoMaschenko’.”

As for Rigondeaux, this was the first defeat of his professional boxing career.
