Monster Energy: Monza Rally Show 2017

What do you get when you combine rig riots, race cars, fun times in the paddock and world-renowned athletes like Valentino Rossi and Steve Biagioni?

You get the Monza Rally Show, held annually in Monza, Italy. The 2017 edition kicked off on December 1 and runs for three days through December 3.

Specifically, the Monza Rally Show is a rally racing event that's been held since 1978 at the same Italian circuit. It includes various different rally racing categories, from motor vehicles to motorcycles. The aforementioned Valentino Rossi captured the 2016 title in the four-wheel event, making it the fifth time that he's won at Monza in the particular race. He'll look to go back-to-back and earn his sixth title in the event this week.

Racing isn't the only event that attendees can enjoy at the annual year-end extravaganza at Monza. There's also rig riots, fun to be had in the paddock and other entertainment.
