MATCH REPORT: Miku's only goal won BFC all three away points against NorthEast United FC

IT WAS the away side that dictated the first 20 minutes. Although the first shot on target was taken by NorthEast. Danilo was the first to test the keeper. Bengaluru's attempt from Miku was well wide. The Federation Cup champions first real chance came in the 20th minute.  

Chhetri's left foot strike was on target and Rehenesh was up to the task. Bengaluru followed up an even better chance. Udanta pierced the defence with a through to Miku,  who swung his leg but his shot was dragged wide. 

It was a physical game as tackles weer flying from both sets of players.  Johnson went into the book in the first half. 
Sunil Chhetri was played over the Neufc defence and he was on the left of the the 6 yard box and shot with Power but only to at Rehenesh.

Nirmal was next to go in the book. Best chance for the home team came 5 minutes from half time.  Danilo strikes well but a finger touch save from Ralte keeps the score goalless. Marcinho with a curling left for effort came close to the giving home side the lead just before half time, although the shot was Well wide. 

The restart saw Bengaluru taking the lead shortly. Rehenesh passed loosely to his defence and it was intercepted and played immediately to Miku in the box. He wasted no time to slot it past the Neufc keeper. After the goal,  the pace of the game had slowed.  

Many fouls hampered the flow of the game. Ralte remained untested in the second half. Danilo had a the best chance of the game when a brilliant move saw him yards in front of the goal.  His shot was straight at Ralte. Northeast tool advantage of the lax defending of Bengaluru as another chance create by the Home team saw a great save by Ralte. The match ended with that final action.
