SRI LANKA CRICKET announced a revised 16-member squad for the three-match ODI series against starting December 10. The team which has been ratified by the Sports Minister Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekera will be led by Thisara Perera.
Team: Upul Tharanga, Danushka Gunathilaka, Lahiru Thirimanne, Angelo Mathews, Asela Gunaratne, Niroshan Dickwella, Chaturanga de Silva, Akila Dananjaya, Suranga Lakmal, Nuwan Pradeep, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Dhananjaya De Silva, Dushmantha Chameera, Sachith Pathirana, Kusal Janith Perera.
The team was earlier scheduled to fly to India at 00:30 hours on the 6th of December. However, due to the board’s delay in submitting the team list to Sports Minister, the selected players were unable to travel to India. It is learnt that they will board their flight today.
