I-League 2017-18: Mohun Bagan striker Dicka hospitalized after Derby

 MOHUN BAGAN STRIKER Aser Pierrick Dipanda "Dicka" has been hoslitalized after getting injured during this afternoon's Kolkata Derby.

The striker picked up the injury when he collided with East Bengal defender Eduardo Ferreira during the match, which Mohun Bagan won 1-0.

After initial treatment by the pitch, he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. He was admitted in the emergency ward at first although the doctors soon determined he was not in any immediate danger.

Scans are currently underway to determine the extent of his injuries.

Mohun Bagan have a week's time before they play the next match and the club's staff, officials and supporters will all hope that Dicka's injuries do not put him out of action against Churchill Brothers next Sunday.
