UFC 218: Full Fight Card and Schedule For the event

UFC 218 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. Headlined by the Featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and reigning champion Max Holloway, the pay-per-view boasts a solid fight card.

UFC 218 happens this weekend

The main event itself is the biggest draw of the night as Aldo will be looking to recapture the gold that once belonged to him. Holloway defeated Aldo by third-round TKO back in June.  The Brazilian cannot afford to make the same mistakes as he did the last time and will be looking to change his game around for the latest showdown.

The co-main event of the night could determine the No. 1 contender in the Heavyweight division. Alistair Overeem will look to slow down the hype train speeding at him named Francis Ngannou who has looked unstoppable through his first few fights in the UFC.

Sergio Pettis will be locking horns with the experience Henry Cejudo.  Pettis has enjoyed the best run of his UFC career as of late, including a punishing performance over Brandon Moreno in his last fight. This 24-year-old American is fast and elusive on the feet and he won't give his compatriot, Cejudo a stationary target to hit. Cejudo who is an Olympic Gold medalist in Wrestling and is not a pushover as has taken huge strides when it comes to his kickboxing and that will serve him well facing someone as quick and powerful as Pettis on the feet.

If one fight on the card guarantees violence, it is the showdown between Eddie Alvares  As a former UFC lightweight champion, Alvarez has faced nothing but elite competition since arriving in the promotion and that experience will certainly help him in this fight. He will be locking horns with Gaethje, who is a force of nature whenever he steps into a fight because he hits like a truck and doesn’t slow down from the time the referee releases him from the corner until the final horn sounds. Gaethje makes no secret what he likes to do best - come after his opponents with a brutal, high paced offensive onslaught that is just relentless.

A Women’s Straw weight battle between Tecia Torres and Michelle Waterson is also on the menu for the main card. Below is the complete fight card for the event:
