Overview
Australia and England will lock horns in the second Ashes Test tomorrow at the Adelaide Oval. This will be a day/night game played with a pink ball.
Even before a ball has been bowled, there is speculation on whether Moeen Ali would be 100% fit to bowl or not. There was also a talk of leggie Mason Crane's inclusion, but England have named their 12 man squad and there is no place for the youngster.
Australia too have named a unchanged team that played in Brisbane. The weather looks pretty much fine for the entire game, but there could be some early morning shower on the first day. On the wicket front, we can expect some pace early on. That said, the spinners too will have plenty of purchase.
We feel the tourists still lack the firepower without Ben Stokes and that is once again likely to effect their balance. Australia will enter the contest as the favourites and picking most of their blokes in your fantasy team for this game won't be a bad idea at all.
For the hosts, Warner, Smith, Lyon and Starc will remain vital and for the visitors, the likes of Root, Cook, Anderson and Broad will need to rise to the occasion.
While M Ali might not bowl, we feel he is still good as a batsman and any overs will surely be seen as a bonus and he will bat ahead of keeper Bairstow.
