THERE IS GOOD NEWS for tennis fans as the Champions Tennis League (CTL) is all set to kickstart its second season.
The brain behind the tournament, Indian tennis legend Vijay Amritraj, is ready for the players' draft, after which the fans will get a glimpse of the new line-up for their favourite teams.
From the 6 legends who participated in the first edition, there is only one old hand, that of Greg Rusedski, who played for Punjab Marshalls.
The new legends include Alex Corretja,
and Thomas Muster.
The women's players include three new faces, including the reigning US Open champion Flavia Pennetta
The others are Heather Watson,
while the other three are doubles and mixed doubles champion Martina Hingis,
and Alize Cornet who are back for the second time
The 6 ATP players include Marcos Baghdatis,
and Kevin Anderson, who were part of the first season too.
The new entrants are Andreas Seppi,
and Ivo Karlovic.
