HIDDEN GEMS: Unpolished NorthEast United talent will spark given their moment in the sun

WITH A BUNCH OF YOUNG, sturdy home grown players mostly loaned out from Shillong Lajong and Royal Wahingdoh, as well as seasoned warriors hand-picked from the domestic and overseas open market, NorthEast United have formed their squad with the right mix of youth and talent that promises to ask many questions of the so-called favourites in the upcoming ISL. Coming off a poor show last year where they finished at the bottom of the table, the Highlanders will be relying on the likes of Simão Sabrosa and Diomansy Kamara to regain lost pride. 

But among their ranks are certain players, a tad young, unpolished, but full of talent and potential. These gems of players are somewhat hidden from limelight at the moment, but they will spark up the moment they get their moment in the sun.
