BHARAT KHANDARE is all set to be the first Indian-born fighter to step into the UFC Octagon next week. Bharat will be fighting at the UFC Shanghai card and it was initially noted that he would face Liu Pingyuan at the event.
However, a new report from MMA Kings on Twitter notes that Bharat will be facing Song Yadong instead. The news it yet to be confirmed by the UFC.
Song is expected to be a huge test for Bharat as the Chinese fighter comes in with a record of 9-3 to his name. He has had stints in ONE Championship and WLF and is currently on a two-fight winning streak at the moment.
