THE BRAVE INTERNATIONAL COMBAT WEEK is nearing its conclusion and an exciting card from Brave Combat Federation awaits the fans.

The Main event of the night

The promotion’s Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions is just around the corner and despite a major hiccup of losing the co-main event; the show has some exciting fights to offer.

The Title fights:

The initial card of Brave CF 9 had three title fights on offer. However, as mentioned earlier, the promotion had a major hiccup just one day ahead of the event. Lucas “Mineiro” Martins, who was set to challenge Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame for the Brave Featherweight Championship, had to pull out of the card due to weight cut issues.

The fight was scheduled to be the co-main event and now the status goes to the Bantamweight Title showdown between India’s Gurdarshan Mangat and Philippines’ Stephen Loman. Both men will be vying for a chance to become the inaugural Brave Bantamweight champion.

The main event has a similar storyline as Ottman Azaitar and Alejandro Martinez fights for the inaugural Lightweight title.

Rivalries on the main card

Apart from the title fights, the main card holds some heated rivalries. The most notable one is Carl Booth vs. Jarrah Al Selawe. Three years ago, these two had their first fight which was won by Booth via TKO. It took three years for Al Selawe to get his rematch and neither warriors are showing no signs of backing down.

There is a lot of bad blood between Mohammad Fakhreddine and Tahar Hadbi as well, which guarantees an intense fight between the Welterweights.

Hamza Kooheji vs. Mohammed Farhad

Arguably one of the most interesting fights on the card, Hamza Kooheji vs. Mohammed Farhad has been a major talking point in MMA circles. Words were exchanged throughout the build-up but there was a sense of respect as well between the camps. The fight has title implications as well since the winner could get a shot at the Bantamweight title.

Showdowns in the preliminary card

The India – Pakistan Rivalry would be something to watch out for in the preliminary card. Atif Mohammed of India will be going up against Haider Farman of Pakistan in the opening fight of the night.

The preliminary card will also see the return of Jeremy Pacatiw. Pacatiw is currently on an impressive run and is a frontrunner in the Bantamweight division. He will face Jalal Al Daaja at the event. Ahmed Amir also returns to the promotion at Brave CF 9 when he fights Erik Carlsson.

Though there was a last minute opponent change, the fight featuring Hardeep Rai also evokes interest. Frans Mlambo, Charlie Leary and Daniele Scatizzi are the other major attractions on the preliminary card.
