‘Disappointed’ Hardik Pandya quashes rumours about quitting Mumbai Indians

INDIA ALL-ROUNDER Hardik Pandya has dismissed the recent reports of him quitting the three-time IPL winning team Mumbai Indians.

Pandya claimed that he was upset to hear the speculations about him leaving the side, which has given him everything in life. As reported by News18, the Gujarat-lad said,

“I was disappointed when I heard this news because this is false. This team has given me everything. Why would I leave it? My life changed when I got a chance to play for MI (Mumbai Indians) and then I never looked back. I had a small failure and that’s why I learned to be even more professional. You need to understand that some things are bad. That’s how you improve in life.”

It is understood that the IPL Governing Council is yet to finalize on the cap for the number of players to be retained by a franchise. However, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya will remain hot favourites as far as the retention of Mumbai Indians’ players is concerned.
