On the 14th match on BPL T20 Comilla Victorians will take on Chittagong Vikings at Shere Bhangla in the second match of the day. Chittagong Vikings are sitting at 5th position on the table with two losses and one win where as Comilla Victorian is at third position with two wins and one loss.
Update on Tamim Iqbal & Colin Munro
After the India tour Colin Munro tweeted that he is heading home for the big summer
We feel if Colin had to play in BPL he would have travelled to Bangladesh, so on this basis we feel Colin would not
be a part of BPL 2017
According to news reports, during the last match of Comilla Victorians, Tamim Iqbal spoke to local newspaper and said
I didn't appear in the first few matches in BPL as I wanted to be fully fit. I was supposed to play the last game against Rajshahi Kings but after consulting with national physio [Bayjidul Islam] I have changed my mind to avoid any risk. Now, after ticking all the boxes I am ready to play the BPL. Let's see what happen
Now this is a big hint that he might play and Mohammad Nabi will have to give up his captaincy, another big issue here is either Imrul Kayes or Alok Kapali might be benched to make way for Tamim. Exclusion of Kapali wont matter but Imrul kayes is definately in decent form and dropping him would prove risky to the Victorians.
We are not picking Tamim Iqbal, for two reasons, one because of the uncertainity and second he is just coming out of an injury we will wait for one match to pick. As our teams are not for grand leagues, we take safe routes but you can risk him in grand league and might make him as captain as well.
