THE ASIAN KABADDI CHAMPIONSHIP for men and women is all set to get underway in Gorgan, Iran starting November 22. A total of 10 teams will engage in the competition, where India will be among the top favourites.
As reported by Sportskeeda, a group of 36 players for the men’s team has joined the preparatory camp at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) center in Sonepat. The camp will conclude on November 19 and only 12 players will fly to Iran for the Championships.
Surprisingly, veterans like Jasvir Singh, Dharmaraj Cheralathan and skipper Anup Kumar have been kept out of the squad. Here is the list of 36 players who have joined SAI preparatory camp ahead of the Asian Championships.
