Been a tough few months 😓 Haven't been able to train or compete at 100% due to a recurring pain at the back of the knee/hamstring. Had to pull out of my match at the nationals owing to that. Took another MRI scan today and the good news is that it's not anything major. The report showed a strained hamstring which should heal in 2 weeks. The underlying issue however seems to be a bio mechanical one and a more specific and extensive strengthening/rehab program will be required. This however means I will have to pull out of the China and hongkong open :( . Definitely unfortunate to run into a stubborn injury when you're at a career best ranking of 13. But time to be more stubborn and keep fighting. My next tournament will be the PBL in December. I will be back stronger ! Meanwhile I'll be venting my frustration with ✏️ and paper. So do support my art career as well :p . Cheers !
