SATURDAY, 4th November, the NSCI in Mumbai was lit up to welcome the Legends from the badminton world. It was a full house stadium, kids gathered in huge numbers along with their families to witness a badminton extravagant like never before.
Seeing legendary shuttlers like Peter Gade, Taufik Hidayat, Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan, Lee Yong Dae along with Indian legends Prakash Padukone and Pullela Gopichand on one platform is a dream come true for every badminton fan.
Along with the above mentioned players, there were current Indian stars like Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth, HS Prannoy and Sai Praneeth. The legends were felicitated by the Indian stars. They also indulged in a talk show hosted by former badminton player Aparna Popat.
And then the fans got to witness all these players in action against each other or pairing up with each which isn't a regular sight always.
