READ: Rohit Sharma’s sarcastic reply to Harbhajan’s comment 

ROHIT SHARMA AND SHIKHAR DHAWAN failed to get the ideal start against New Zealand in the second T20 at Rajkot. The duo combined to score just six-runs as India eventually lost the game by 40-runs. The series is currently tied 1-1, with the third and the final T20 to get underway in Kerala on November 7. 

During the mid-innings chat, India veteran Harbhajan Singh, in a chat with news channel, Aaj Tak, said that the openers need to bat out the new ball for India to chase the stiff target. The channel’s sports editor Vikrant Gupta took to his Twitter account to share the spinner’s views.

However, a day later, Rohit Sharma retorted sarcastically to that suggestion. The Mumbai-lad took to his Twitter handle to quip that it,

“Such a valid point we didn’t realise.”

Rohit’s comment also drew laughter from Yuzvendra Chahal.
