Srikanth & Prannoy set new career best rankings of No. 2 & 11

IT'S CONFIRMED that Kidambi Srikanth is the new World No. 2, his best career ranking until now. And he has rightfully earned the spot with his brilliant performances this year. Winning four major SS titles and has also secured the top spot at the Dubai Super Series Final seedings.

The newly released BWF Rankings have stated the above new rankings. No major shift elsewhere. Sai Praneeth slips one place to No. 16, Sameer Verma remains at No. 18 while Ajay Jayaram climbs up one spot to No. 22.

In the women's singles category, PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal remains at No. 2 and 11 respectively.

Young men's doubles duo Satwik/Chirag Shetty enter the top 30, climb up four spots to No. 28 while Manu Attri/Sumeeth Reddy remain at No. 33 and Shlok Ramchandran/Arjun MR climb up two spots at No. 36.

Ashwini Ponnappa/Sikki Reddy slip two spots to No. 25, Sanjana Santosh/Aarthi Sara Sunil remain at No. 41 and Jakkampudi Meghana/Poorvisha Ram go down one spot to No. 45.

In the mixed doubles, Pranaav Jerry Chopra/Sikki remain at No. 16, Prajakta Sawant/Yogendran Krishnan (Malaysia) are at No. 43 and Sumeeth Reddy/Ashwini at No. 49.
