Brave 9: Bahrain rallies behind Hamza Kooheji for Fight against Indian MMA star Mohammad Farhad

Brave Combat Federation featured a live interaction session for fans with Hamza Kooheji from Bahrain who is currently training in Dagestan.

Hamza answered to his fans about his training, diet and thoughts about his opponent. The interaction which was closely watched by fans of Mohammed Farhad took potshots at Hamza. This triggered fans of Hamza including noted celebrities to join hands for the Bahraini athlete and come forward to support in mainstream media.

"I respect my opponent not matter who he is. I have fought tougher opponents who are more skilled and from higher weight classes so I do not see any threat. Brave is helping fighters to grow and explore their potential. Bahrain is giving us a lot of support and that support is giving me immense strength to fight in a level Farhad cannot image. I will finish Farhad. I want those who support me to be with me cheering for Bahrain at Khalifa Sports City stadium. I will make sure the colours of Bahrain will fly high that day.", said Hamza Kooheji. 

Hamza Kooheji who is on a three-fight win streak will face Mohammed Farhad who has the record of the fastest knockout in the history of Brave as well as the longest winning streak in the history of Indian MMA. The fight is crucial to determine the future contender for the Bantamweight Championship.

 The bout will take place at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions to held in Bahrain at 17 November at Khalifa Sports City. Mohammed Farhad has not responded so far, the Indian fighter with the longest winning streak in Indian MMA is expected to break his silence and give his point of view on the fight in the coming days. Mohammed Farhad trains with Team Relentless fight team under head coach Jithendra Khare in Mumbai.
