Fantasy Cricket: Dream11 tips for JLT ODI Victoria v South Australia

Overview 

South Australia will take on Victoria in the 15th match of the JLT ODI Cup tomorrow at the North Oval in Sydney. It is supposed to be a clear day and that will further mean great batting conditions. 

That said, the Victorian batting line-up has been consistent from White, Dean to Short. Now, after the return of Handscomb, they look all the more formidable. On the other hand, South Australian batters have not performed as a unit. 

While the likes of Carey, Ross and Weatherald have chipped in with useful innings, the dip in form on C Ferguson will be a major concern for SA. 

Also, we feel their bowling has been little under the cosh. Meanwhile, the Victorian seamers in Siddle, Tremain and Boland have done pretty well. The pattern could continue.

VIC- Harris, White, Dean, Short, Handscomb, Gotch, Siddle, Tremain, Fawad, Boland, Thomson 

SA- Carey, Weatherald, Cooper, Ferguson, Ross, Lehmann, Valente, Menni, Worral, Winter, Cormack 

Important players for this game 

White- He is the best batsman in the Victorian ranks and much will depend on how he goes with the willow. 

Siddle- He has been arguably the best seamer on show in this tournament till now. Already pushing for a place back in the Aussie intl team. 

Ross- He might bat down the order but has all the ingredients to make it count. 

Harris- He will open the batting and as we have seen already he can score quickly in the powerplay.

Cap & vice cap logic 

It could be a little tricky to pick the cap & vice cap for this round. There could be a temptation to pick a victorian seamer, but we feel the batsmen from either team will be a safe bet. Also, we feel White is a safe choice given his form and reputation.
