Brave 9: India vs. Pakistan Showdown Added to the fight card
Brave Combat Federation will feature one of the biggest rivalries in sports at their flagship event in Bahrain taking place on 17th November. India will go against Pakistan in Mixed Martial Arts for the first time during the year when Atif Mohammed from India will face Haider Farman from Pakistan. The match will take place during the 9th edition of the event held during the 2017 Brave International Combat Week.

Atif is one of the first Indian fighters to train and become the part of KHK MMA gym in Bahrain. Atif had started his MMA career with the Super Fight League in 2013, but he embarked to pursue quality training and to focus on Amateur MMA until he returned to compete in pro-division at the opening bout of Brave: The Beginning. Atif is the first Indian to score a victory in Brave Combat Federation.
Atif and Farman are the top contenders in the strawweight division and are looking forward to bouncing back from defeats in their previous appearances, coincidentally against the same opponent: Philippine’s Jomar Pa-ac. Atif lost his previous fight by split decision at Brave 4 while Farman ended up topped in a unanimous decision at the “Fight of the Night” of Brave 2.
Atif and Farman are also known for their dynamic speed and agility inside the cage, which leaves a fair prediction of a thrilling contest between these two.
Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions which is held under patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, marks the promotion’s return to the Kingdom of Bahrain after a year spent expanding its operations worldwide. Brave 9 will be the culmination of the 2017 Brave International Combat Week, alongside the IMMAF World Championships.
