BENGALURU FC are gearing up for the first leg of the AFC Cup Inter-Zonal final against Istiklol FC of Tajikistan. The two teams clash tomorrow (27th September 2017) at the latter's home ground.
Talking at the pre-match press conference, BFC coach Albert Roca said that he is excited to be part of the final stages.
AR: Excited to be in the final stages. Both teams were born only a few years ago so it's a very important step in our shot at history.

Also present at the conference was defender Collin Abranches. He said:
CA: Both teams have played a final so it's going to be a very good tie. We're so close to another big game so we'll be giving it our all.

Talking about Istiklol, Roca said that they have been watching videos to understand the opponents well.
AR: As professionals we must know everything about our opponents. We have seen match footage of their game against Ceres. #ISTvBEN

AR: They have finished their season and we have just finished pre season. This makes the challenge tougher than it would be otherwise.
