Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket tips for West Indies vs India, 3rd ODI at Port of Spain (27th July)

The 3nd ODI of the series between India and West Indies will be played at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain. The match will start at 7:00 PM IST.

In the previous match the Indian team conceded 65 runs in 9.1 overs, taking just 1 wicket. They couldn’t control the West Indies run rate. Bowling extremely short line and length, they provided the West Indian batsman with ample room outside the off stump. Too many length deliveries in death overs propelled the West Indian Score to three hundred and eleven.

When the Indian team got their chance to bat, though they were off to a slow start, even then it was a sturdy beginning with 48 for no loss. After the collapse of the opening partnership by getting Shikar Dhawan out, there was a strong partnership between Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer of 99 runs to boast about. But the end of this one led the Indian team towards a mini collapse, after losing the wickets of Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Hooda in quick succession.

Things didn't turn around until Axar Patel played a blinder of a knock Scoring 64 of 35 balls leading India to a nail biter win. Axar Patel was named the man of the match for his heroics with the bat and the display of his craftsmanship of a great allrounder.

In this third one day International if India gets to bowl first, their bowling needs to be tighter as far as line and length on the off stump are concerned, with deep focus on depriving the West Indies batsmen of any unwarranted liberties.

The Indian bowlers should concentrate on picking up at least three wickets early in the powerplay to restrict the west Indies batting line up. If India get the chance to bat first, it’s a prerequisite to get off to a cautious and a quick start and at least score above 350 or more runs.
