PKL: Matches postponed due to Mumbai rains to be held in Ranchi and Pune

THE ORGANISERS of VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season 5 have announced the dates for the matches postponed on August 29th due excessive rains in Mumbai.

The two matches between Bengaluru Bulls and U.P. Yoddha (Match 51) and U Mumba and Gujarat FortuneGiants (Match 52) will now be played during the Ranchi and Pune leg of the tournament respectively.

Match Number 52 between U Mumba and Gujarat FortuneGiants has been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 20th at the Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Ranchi.  This match will be played at 8:00 PM (first match) followed by ‘Match Number 86’ between Patna Pirates v Tamil Thalaivas.

Match Number 51 which will see Bengaluru Bulls clash with UP Yoddha has been rescheduled to take place on Tuesday, 17th October 2017 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune. This match will be played at 8:00 PM (first match) followed by ‘Match Number 128’ between Puneri Paltan and Haryana Steelers.

Both the matches will precede the earlier scheduled match ups on the same day resulting in double the action for Kabaddi fans in Ranchi and Pune. The decision has been made in consultation with the franchises, Marshal Sports, Star India, AKFI and other key stakeholders. 

VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season 5 has so far received tremendous support from Kabaddi enthusiasts wherever the caravan has set foot and as the tournament moves towards the play-offs, the Kabaddi craze, that has gripped the nation is only expected to grow further.
