UFC 215 Results: Amanda Nunes retains After a close fight against Valentina Shevchenko

AMANDA NUNES SUCCESSFULLY defended her UFC Women’s Bantamweight championship at UFC 215. The Brazilian defeated Valentina Shevchenko in a close fight that went the distance.

The decision turned out to be a controversial one as well. A good portion of the fans expressed their disappointment on Twitter as they felt Shevchenko should’ve won the fight.

Elsewhere, Rafael Dos Anjos impressed with a first round submission win over Neil Magny. This was the second win for Dos Anjos in Welterweight. Henry Cejudo dominated Wilson Reis and improved his chances of getting another shot at the UFC Flyweight title.

Violence ensued in the Main Card opener when Jeremy Stephens and Gilbert Melendez faced off. It was Stephens who came out on top in the end. Ilir Latifi was another major winner on the night.
