The two teams will meet for the first time this season. Haryana Steelers, who opened their home leg with a thrilling 41-41 draw against Patna Pirates, have won five, lost two and drawn two in their other nine matches this season. They are placed second in the Zone A points table. 

Senior raider Prashanth Rai Kumar seems to have made the most of his opportunity by picking over five points in two games after Steelers’ inform raider Vikas Khandola sustained an injury. Haryana are no short of quality raiders, with Ashish Chhokar warming the bench and David Mosambayi waiting for his Pro Kabaddi debut. 

The Bengaluru Bulls have had an unimpressive season so far. Placed only above Tamil Thalaivas in the Zone B table, they have lost all of their last five fixtures. The Bulls will be hoping to up the ante and get back to its winning ways.

The Bulls have failed to provide a strong support to Rohit Kumar in the attack. Also, defensively, the team has looked inconsistent and clumsy despite quality defenders in the squad. The Bulls are yet to witness an impressive performance from Ajay Kumar, who was the only category B player to have been retained from any of the eight franchises.
