ISL 2017 - Kerala Blasters FC sign two local young players having played in Santosh trophy
HAVING LOCAL PLAYERS in the squad helps in appeasing the crowd. This could lead to more connect from the fans towards the team.
Kerala Blasters FC have done just that by signing two local boys into the ISL team. Sahal Abdul Samad and Jishnu Balakrishnan have put pen to paper for the Kochi-based ISL franchise.

Sahal hails from Kannur while Jishnu comes from Malapuram, both places being hot beds to find footballing talent. Both boys were featured in Santosh Trophy and were picked by KBFC judging by their performances there.
