There were just two players priced beyond the 1 crore mark in the ISL draft and Anas was one of them. He was bound to add plenty of value to the team that would pick him and obviously made him most-sought after too. Anas made his debut for the Indian national senior team at the age of 29. And after that he has been and inseparable part of the senior defence.
He has played for three seasons for Pune FC and had fixed his place in the starting eleven. With his sturdy performances, he was picked to play for Delhi Dynamos in the second edition of the ISL. Almost a surprise to all, Dynamos decided not to retain and he entered the draft, only to find a new home in Jamshedpur, where he sure to add strength to the backline.
