Brave 8: Frankie Edgar talks co-main event Between Carl Booth and Mohammed Fakhreddine

Former UFC lightweight champion, Frankie Edgar made a statement about Carl Booth from England as the future of UK's MMA.

Edgar returns as a commentator for Brave 8

Carl Booth who had faced defeat only once in his 9 fight professional career will be taking on Mohammed Fakhreddine, the veteran welterweight from Lebanon. Fighting out of Nottingham, England, Carl Booth emerged as a dominating force in the welterweight division.

Carl had fought in the main event of Brave 5: Go for Glory held in Mumbai, India. His last bout was subjected to a no-contest due to an error committed by the time keeper. The welterweight sensation had made an impact in Brave Combat Federation as one of the most lethal strikers in the division.

Meanwhile, Carl Booth has stated that the return of his coach, Karsten Lenjoint will be a morale boost for him. Karsten Lenjoint met with a life threatening motorcycle accident resulting in severe liver, leg and lung injuries.

Carl Booth will clash with Mohammed Fakhreddine on 12th August 2017 at Curitiba Brazil. Brave Combat Federation has announced double championship bouts at Brave 8: The Rise of Champions.

This marks the second visit by the Bahrain based mixed martial arts promotion to Brazil. In the main event, Timo Feucht from Germany will face Klidson Farias from Brazil in a Light Heavyweight championship title match.

Also featured on the card are Jeremy Pacatiw from Team Lackay, Philippines who will face Thiago Dela Coleta from Brazil.
