World Championships: Sindhu seeded 4th while Srikanth at No. 8

PV SINDHU is the highest seeded Indian shuttler at the upcoming World Badminton Championships in Glasgow.

The Olympic Silver medallist has previously won bronze in 2013 and 2014 respectively. In 2013, the bronze medal won, made her the first Indian women's singles shuttler to do so.

Meanwhile, Saina Nehwal who won Silver in 2015 World Championships is seeded No. 12. The former World No. 1 is still struggling with injuries and is yet to perform her best. She will be put to test once again in Glasgow.

WS seedings

In the men's singles category, Kidambi Srikanth has been in great form in the recent past and that has earned him a No. 8 seeding, just behind Chinese shuttler Lin Dan.

The other two Indians that have been seeded in this category are Ajay Jayaram at No. 13 and Sai Praneeth at No. 15 respectively.

MS seedings

In the mixed doubles, Pranaav Jerry Chopra/Sikki Reddy are seeded No. 15 respectively.
