UFC Fight Night Mexico: Sergio Pettis and Alexa Grasso secure wins
SERGIO PETTIS CONTINUED HIS impressive run in the UFC Flyweight division by securing a unanimous decision win over Brandon Moreno.
The fight which went the distance saw Pettis extend his winning streak to four fights. Moreno meanwhile, suffered his first defeat since 2012 and the loss also puts an end to his undefeated run of 11 fights.
In the co-main event, Mexico’s own Alexa Grasso secured a split decision win over Randa Markos. The fight saw both ladies pushing each other to the limits and with the win, Grasso bounces back from his disappointing start in the UFC.
Niko Price surprised Alan Jouban in the main card by going home with a first round TKO win. Meanwhile, things did not go well for Rashad Evans as well. He suffered yet another loss and this time it was against Sam Alvey via a split decision.
