‘Terrific’ Sundar is India’s player for the future, says Brett Lee

AUSSIE GREAT Brett Lee has showered praise on IPL-10 wonder kid Washington Sundar and has termed him ‘absolutely terrific’. Lee reckoned that the young offie will serve the Indian cricket team in the future.

Sundar, who has been in top form in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2017, has found a new fan in Lee. The former Aussie paceman told TNPL’s website,

"I am a big fan of Washington Sundar. He is a very exciting player. He's a player who offers a lot with the bat and ball. He is tall, confident, and very good in the field. Definitely a player for the future. Absolutely terrific!"

Sundar had an impressive run for Rising Pune Supergiant in the IPL-10. He became the youngest player to play the league’s final and also bowled the most economical spell (0/13 in 4 overs) in the title clash.
