Pro Kabaddi: Gujarat FortuneGiants Vs Haryana Steelers ends in a 27-27 nail-biting tie

IT WAS A NAIL BITING match as Gujarat FortuneGiants drew 27-27 against Haryana Steelers on the fifth day of the season 5 of Pro Kabaddi League. It was a stunning comeback from Haryana as they scored 13 points in the final five minutes of the game.

Haryana Steelers skipper Surender Nada picked 7 points against Gujarat FortuneGiants

The Steelers surprised one and all by not announcing star raider Surjeet Singh’s name in the playing 7. Gujarat opened their account with quick raid and tackle points and scored a 4-point lead at the very start. The Surender Nada-led squad got their first point in the sixth minute and made scores 4-1. The skipper displayed great tenacity to pull a Super Tackle in the 12th minute of the game.

It was a close battle before Gujarat scored three points before the half time whistle and gained a 11-8 lead. The Steelers substituted Surjeet Singh in place of Mohit Chhillar as he scored two-raid points to avert an all-out. He granted a 12-11 lead at the 24th minute. However, the lead was momentary as Gujarat inflicted the first all-out of the game at the 28th minute, taking their lead to 20-13.

Courtesy of points from Vikash Khandola and Surjeet Singh, Haryana made a terrific comeback to trail 22-20 at the 34th minute. Subsequently, Haryana inflicted an all-out and level the score at 23-23. It continued to remain a closely contested affair till the last minute as all of Fazel Atrachali, Vikash Khandola and Sukesh Hegde earned points.
