INDIAN ACES: Telugu Titans keen on breaking their semi-final jinx in PKL 2017
THE TELUGU TITANS have had a pretty average run over the course of the four seasons of Pro Kabaddi League. The Hyderabad-outfit which is owned by Veera Sports, finished fifth in the first and the third edition. They qualified for the play-offs in the second and the fourth edition, however, couldn’t lay their hands on the trophy.
Titans have been considered as a raiding unit all through the four seasons. But after the recent auctions, the franchise bolstered its defensive department. Ahead of the bidding event, the Titans retained their skipper Rahul Chaudhari. This time, the team has also appointed Navin Kumar, a member of the 2006 Asian gold-medal winning team, to coach the rejigged squad.
Titans will take on new entrant Tamil Thalaivas to mark the commencement of the expanded fifth season. Ahead of their first game, let us take a closer look at some of the Indian gems in the Telugu Titans squad.
