Footballers undergo medical check-ups ahead of ISL Draft for 2017-18 season

A SLEW OF first rate footballers have gone through medical check-ups to complete eligibiity for the ISL draft.

The likes of Eugeneson Lyngdoh, Isaac Vanmalsawma, Chinglnsana Singh, Mehtab Hossain and Pritam Kotal have all gone through thorough procedures to determine their fitness conditions and ensure they are not carrying any injuries.

A surprising addition to a list of players who turned up at a private hostpital in Kolkata was Syed Rahim Nabi, the former Indian international who saw his football career get sidelined when he stood for local elections last year. He had signed for Mumbai FC but left the camp before playing a single match.

The ISL draft will take place on 23rd July, and IMG-Reliance have pretty much secured the cream of Indian football on one-year deals, consistently outpricing the I-League clubs.
