Delhi Dynamos choose not to retain any senior Indian player

DELHI DYNAMOS decide to skip retaining any of the two player quota. Teams says they will go aggresive in the player draft.

After much consideration and thought,  Delhi Dynamos FC had decided not to retain any of their domestic players for the upcoming ISL season 4 draft.

“From our internal assessments, it was clear that the best position would be to go into the draft with no retentions. As majority of the squad has to be built through draft picks, we will use that tool to create an aggressive team. This is in line with our thought to produce National Team Players which is why we brought in Coach Miguel Angel Portugal” said CEO Ashish Shah

“From the bottom of my heart I’d like to give my sincere thanks to all our Indian players who gave their all during my first year at the club last year. I think it’s better in line with all our new developments this year, for us to start with a clean slate and re-brand  DDFC for the long term” said director Rohan Sharma
