Brave Combat Federation announces events in Mexico and Brazil, Title fights set
Brave Combat Federation has officially announced back to back events in Brazil and Mexico. Brave will be holding the event in Mexico on 29th July, 2017 in Plaza de Toros Caliente at Tijuana, Mexico.
This will be followed by the event in Brazil on 12th August in Taruma, Curitiba. The events will feature athletes from Brazil, Mexico, The United States of America, Guyana, Costa Rica, Philippines, United Kingdom, Lebanon and Germany.
Mexico will become the venue for the seventh episode of Brave Combat Federation and will feature Alejandro "Pato" Martínez against Fabian "El Aniquilador" Quintanar in the main event. Martínez and Quintanar, had faced each other at TUF Latin America 3 where "Pato" won by split decision. Martínez will look forward to build off from his sensational TKO win over the tough Brazilian veteran Paulo "Bananada" Silva at Brave 5, in India. Quintanar, who comes in with a 13-2 overall record, will be making his debut at Brave Combat Federation.
Brazil will host the eighth edition of Brave in Taruma, Curitiba. Two championship titles will be on the line in line. Lebanon's Mohammad Fakhreddine and England's Carl Booth will face off at the co-main event for the welterweight championship title. The main event will feature the Light Heavyweight championship title fight between Klidson Abreu, from Brazil, and Timo Feucht, from Germany.
Mohammed Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation had also announced that major plans for India and Bahrain are in progress and hinted a major event in Bahrain. The Bahrain-based promotion had established as the largest promotion in the Middle East and held events in Brazil, India, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. The popularity of the sport had also translated into multiple victories in mixed martial arts events for Bahrain, and to gain global attention as an emerging hub for combat sports.
