UFC 212 Results: Max Holloway crowned Undisputed Featherweight champion

THE FEATHERWEIGHT division of UFC finally has an undisputed champion.

Max Holloway stopped Jose Aldo in the third round at UFC 212 main event to unify the title and extend his undefeated run to 11-fight. Holloway, who started the fight on his back foot in the first round, came back strongly in the second and third to secure the win.

He had a long dominant spell on top of Aldo in the third round before the referee called for a stoppage. Elsewhere, Claudia Gadelha became the first fighter to finish Karolina Kowalkiewicz after she submitted her opponent in the first round. With the win, Claudia has improved her record to 15-2.

Vitor Belfort secured a decision win over fellow veteran Nate Marquardt. Vitor mentioned that he is not retiring and added that he has five more fights left in him.
