TFG Fantasy Pundit: Fantasy cricket tips for SA v SL CT game at Oval

Overview 

Angelo Mathews is in doubt for this opening clash against South Africa. We expect the Proteas to beat the Lankans and we believe that it would be better to pick 7 players from SA camp and 4 from SL. There is still no clarity on whether Imran Tahir will play ahead of Keshav Maharaj or not. As far as pace goes, expect Morris, Rabada and Parnell to lead the attack. For Lankans, Malinga and Kulasekara will be the spearheads.

SA- Amla, De Kock, Faf, ABD, Miller, Duminy, Parnell, Morris, Rabada, Phehulkwayo, Tahir/Maharaj 

SL- Dickwella, Tharanga, K Mendis, Chandimal, Mathews/Kapugedara, Gunaratne, T perera, Malinga, Kulasekara, Sandakan, Lakmal/Pradeep 

Players who cannot be missed 

Amla- Looked in fine touch in the ODIs against England and should enjoy batting against the Lankans too at the Oval. 

De Kock- Will continue to be the dominant wicket-keeper batsman for the Proteas. Cannot be playing without him.

Rabada- He bowled brilliantly against the English last week and should expose the inexperienced Lankan batting too. 

Gunaratne- The Lankan all-rounder is coming off a great time in limited overs cricket. A handy contributor with both bat and ball.
