TFG Fantasy Pundit: Fantasy cricket tips for AUS v NZ CT game at Edgbaston

Overview 

We expect the conditions to be a little bowler friendly at Edgbaston. Also, there is a threat of rain for this clash in Birmingham. While the bowling and batting line-up is pretty much decided for both teams, there is no real clarity on the all-rounders spot. A few tough calls likely to be taken. Also, it will be interesting to see if the Kiwis play two specialist spinners. 

Probable 11

AUS-Warner, Lynn/Finch, Smith, Head, Maxwell, Henriques/Stoinis/Hastings, Wade, Starc, Cummins, Zampa, Hazlewood 

NZ- Guptill, Ronchi/Latham, Williamson, Taylor, Broom, Neesham, Anderson/Colin de, Santner, Southee, Patel, Boult

Players who cannot be missed

Starc- He will open the bowling for the Aussies and can run through the Kiwi line-up of there is any assistance on offer. Has a tremendous strike rate in the ODIs. 

Boult- The last time he played against the Aussies, he took 6 wickets. Another teriffic swing bowler who will relish the conditions. 

Williamson- Arguably the best batsman in the New Zealand line-up. Will play the role of a sheet anchor. Given his credentials, it will be a stupid move to drop him. 

Smith- The Aussie skipper has been in fine form lately and should carry that into the CT as well. 

Warner- Is coming off a brilliant run in the IPL and is likely to attack the Kiwi bowlers from the word go. Would be a big risk to drop this devastating opener from fantasy teams.
