TFG Fantasy Pundit: Fantasy cricket tips for ENG v BAN ODI for CT 2017

Overview 

For the opening game of CT, we would advise you to pick more of England players as compared to Bangladesh. We expect England batsmen and bowlers to give maximum fantasy points. On the weather and pitch front, it is difficult to determine how the conditions will be. If the sun comes out, batting will get easy, but with some cloud cover, the bowlers will have plenty on offer. Ben Stokes might not bowl, but he is still more than good enough as a batsman to find a spot in fantasy teams. 

Probable 11

ENG- Roy/Bairstow, Hales, Root, Morgan, Stokes, Ali, Butler, Woakes, Rashid, Plunkett, Wood

BAN- Tamim, Sarkar, Shakib, Sabbir, Rahim, Mahmadullah, Mosaddek, Mortaza, Taskin, Rubel, Mustafizur 

Players who cannot be missed 

Root- Arguably the best batsman in the England ranks. Will bat at No.3 and can really make it count against Bangladesh. 

Stokes- Whether he bowls or not, he should be picked in all fantasy teams. We know how he can win games singlehandedly with his willow. 

Hales- Has been striking the ball well and enjoyed a great run with SA & IRE. Can take the Bangladeshi bowlers to the cleaners. 

Shakib- Regardless of the conditions or opposition, this champion all-rounder has to be in all fantasy teams. 

Mustafizur- He is the best bowler that Bangladesh has and will enjoy bowling in English conditions. We expect him to be amongst the wickets.
