JHIJHAK KI PATTI: Gambhir asks Indians to step out of crease and thank Indian army personnel 

INDIA VETERAN Gautam Gambhir has for a number of times stepped up for noble causes. The elegant batsman has time and again shown his support for people affected by calamities, terrorist attacks etc. He has always held the Indian army in high regard and has remained vocal about the same.

This time in an innovative campaign titled ‘Jhijhak ki Patti’, the southpaw has asked all the Indians to take selfies with army personnel and post it on the social media with a specific campaign hashtag. In the video, Gambhir requests all men of our country to start thanking the army men openly.

Earlier, during the IPL, Gambhir had announced donated the entire sum of his MoM award to the children of the Indian soldiers martyred in the Sukma Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh. He had stated that his foundation will look after their educational expenses.
