MUMBAI INDIANS will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders at Bengaluru, to book a place in the finals of IPL-10.
MI, who finished at the top of the table after the group stage, went down against Rising Pune Supergiant in the first Qualifier at Wankhede. On the other hand, fourth placed KKR beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in a rain-affected Eliminator at Bengaluru, to move a step closer to the coveted trophy.
As only one of the two teams can play RPS in the finals at Hyderabad, both KKR and MI are expected to produce their performance in the much-anticipated tie. MI skipper believes that KKR have an edge over his side after beating SRH at the same venue. However, he has asserted that his men will put their best foot forward to deny KKR a shot at their third IPL trophy.
“KKR won the game here, so obviously the momentum is with them. We have to put our best foot forward and see where we go.”
