INDIA AND ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE skipper Virat Kohli has donated one of favourite bats to RCB teammate and West Indies batsman Chris Gayle.
The duo, who form an integral part of the IPL franchise, are known to be good friends off the field. Recently, the official Twitter handle of "The Chris Gayle Foundation" shared a video of Kohli's bat which was gifted by the Indian skipper, to be auctioned for charity.
It is learnt that the bat will go under the hammer at "The Chris Gayle Dinner" in London on June 6. “The Chris Gayle Foundation” will see attendance from cricketing heavy-weights like Kevin Pietersen and Yuvraj Singh.
According to the event's website, the event is expected to be,
"Fabulous fundraising event in aid of newly formed, The Chris Gayle Foundation. We would be delighted if you could join us, in partnership with Grange Hotels, for an evening of fine wine, sumptous food, fundraising and fun!"
