Yadlapalli and Thandi among the other four Indian-Americans to play in US Open junior singles
SIXTEEN YEAR OLD Pranjala Yadlapalli (seeded 15th) and seventeen year old Karman Kaur Thandi will join four Indian-American girls to play at the US Open Girls singles event, which will be played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
The others are Natasha Subhash, Raveena Kingsley, Naiktha Bains and the former two who were given wild card entry by United States Tennis Association (USTA) and also will be leading the charge at the tournament. Bains is from Australia. It is also the highest number of representation of Indian-origin girls at any Grand Slam tournament.
There were no boys to represent the Indian side who made the cut junior singles.
