Gujarat Lions rope in Irfan Pathan as a replacement for injured Dwayne Bravo

IRFAN PATHAN’S wait to play in the 10th edition of IPL is over as Gujarat Lions have roped the former India all-rounder as replacement for injured all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.

Irfan, who was a part of the IPL 2017 players auction, didn’t find any bidder in spite of coming under the hammer twice. The 32-year-old has an experience of playing in 102 IPL games. He has scored 1137 runs and has picked 80-wickets in as many games. The Gujarat-lad has previously featured for Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Daredevils, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rising Pune Supergiant.

The Gujarat franchise is set to play Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bengaluru on April 27.
