Ranjit Bajaj, owner of Minerva Punjab, banned from stadium for 8 matches; fined 7 lakh rupees
MINERVA ARE BOTTOM-PLACED IN THE LEAGUE TABLE but that is not a news to bother for Minerva as much as another news is. The owner of the team Ranjit Bajaj has been handed a ban that disallows him from entering the stadium for 8 matches.
Bajaj himself was surprised with the news of the ban and expressed it on Twitter.
That's what I want to know coz the punishment is unprecedented so my crime must be huge .. no ?? https://t.co/uBQZBS1K6B

Apparently, according to Bajaj, he accused the referee to be blind and hence the punishment. Bajaj pleads his innocence saying,
Infact I was thirty feet away from the referees ! https://t.co/igrhrEgHOQ

But the show cause notice to him mentioned a different picture as the reason for ban

He further stated that coaches like Antonio Habas in the Indian Super League and others who were involved in physical violence received just four game ban.

Replying to suggestions of appeal against the punishment, Bajaj replied sarcastically saying the Federation does not pay heed to many appeals and even counter ban if the arguments are not bought by the Federation.
